Meet BILL HUMPHREY, CRP, GMS
President

WHAT IS YOUR BACKGROUND IN RELOCATION?

I have a 22 year career in the relocation industry, and have been with XONEX Relocation for 15 years. Prior to that, I worked in sales for two other 3rd party relocation companies. Throughout my career, I have managed operations, sales, and marketing.WHAT ARE YOUR AREAS OF EXPERTISE AND INTEREST?I actually started out in banking, and was a VP of Commercial Lending when I left that industry. I then had a number of years with ADP, and was very involved in the technological side of payroll and accounting, which I still find very interesting. During the last 22 years, I have received my Certified Relocation Professional and Global Mobility Specialist designations and was also was a licensed mortgage banker for a number of years. In all honesty, I live, eat, and breathe relo!

WHAT DO YOU LIKE MOST ABOUT WORKING IN THE RELOCATION INDUSTRY?

This is actually a two-sided answer. There is nothing better than building a new relationship with a client, watching it flourish and seeing goals met. Likewise, I love the opportunity to teach both new corporate friends, as well as internal employees, what corporate relo is all about, which is the need for superior communication and the chance to truly nurture relocating families during one of the most stressful times of their lives. This philosophy has never changed during my long career in relocation and, hopefully, it never will.

WHAT DO YOU DO FOR FUN?

I love to travel, and part of that is my love of photography. I have been blessed to have set foot on all seven continents, and have many thousands of pictures (and great memories). Second to that is cooking – I enjoy ‘banging some pots together’ for friends! Of course, on any given summer weekend, you may find me and my wife, Kathy, tooling around on our Harley.
