




Getting my Corporate Relocation Professional (CRP) Designation from the Worldwide Employee Relocation Council (ERC) is a goal that I’ve been working towards since my first day here at XONEX Relocation. With the exam coming up in May, my study sessions have become much more vigorous. Since I’m sure there are a lot of readers out there who are also trying to get ready for this exam, I thought it appropriate to share some preparation and study tips that I have found helpful. 
Everyone in relocation loves a good conference. And, why wouldn’t we? Conferences are great ways to meet new people, reunite with old friends and learn about any new developments that can impact our businesses. Personally, I think January is a great time to assess the conference landscape to start making decisions (or at least a wish list) about events to attend. In fact, earlier this week I read a post over at Blogging 4 Jobs about upcoming HR and recruiting conferences. It gave me the idea to highlight some of our favorite conferences for the year. So, without further ado, here are our top three HR and corporate relocation conferences for 2013. 
Recently, as I was merrily making my way to the Hyatt Regency in downtown Denver for the 2011 Global Workforce Symposium (a relocation conference) in mid-October, I found myself sharing a shuttle bus ride with a, shall we say, hippy-esque type of gentleman from Michigan. He sported a mop-top head of white hair, wore orange and red prayer beads around his neck and peered at me through his round, Lennon-like specs. His name was Frank and he was wildly fascinating.
